Dear RPS Community,

Due to the extreme heat, RPS students in grades 1-12 will have early release days tomorrow and Friday. PreK and Kindergarten students will not have school on Thursday or Friday and will now begin school on Monday, September 11th. We apologize for the inconvenience and want students in school as much as possible. We have communicated with the Board of Health and have determined that early release days provide the safest learning environment. Your principals will send additional communication this evening.
