Message from RHS - 4.21.20

Good Evening,

I hope this email finds you and your family well.

Earlier today, we received information that all Massachusetts schools have been closed through the remainder of the school year. Though the building itself is closed, we know that the support and education of our students is of the upmost importance and all of us at RHS will continue to do everything we can to help each student!!

Although the decision to close our buildings will have an impact on many areas moving forward, in my family letter sent on Saturday I mentioned that we would be sending out our RHS Remote Grading Expectations today. These expectations can be found here Remote Grading Expectations and they have been created to not only advance a student’s education but also support them in this most extraordinary moment in time.

Specifically, the RHS Remote Grading Expectations explain what students need to do during the rest of the school year and how their work (or lack of work) will combine with other grades the student earned earlier this year, to create a final grade for each course. And, of course, this final grade for the course will become a part of the student’s transcript.

As always, if you have any questions about what has been shared in the RHS Remote Grading Expectations or in the Family Letter (emailed on Saturday, 4/18 and can now be found on our website), please reach out to your teacher, counselor, or administrator. We are all here to support you.

Be well.

William Conard, Principal
