On Saturday, January 24, 2026, two Randolph High School music students traveled to Grafton, Massachusetts to audition for the prestigious Massachusetts All-State Festival Chorus. Students were invited to audition based on outstanding scores earned at the Southeastern Massachusetts Music Educators Association (SEMMEA) Districts Festival.
Under the guidance of Ms. Sara Goddu, students Syntyche Guerrier and Brianna Zamor prepared extensively for this highly competitive audition process. Audition requirements included performing solo repertoire against contrasting voice parts, sight-reading musical excerpts, and demonstrating accurate and proficient scale performance. Each audition was evaluated on musical expression, dynamics, intonation, rhythmic accuracy, and overall musicianship.
We are proud to announce that both Syntyche Guerrier and Brianna Zamor have been selected to participate in the Massachusetts All-State Festival Choruses, to be held March 20–21, 2026. This marks a significant achievement for Randolph High School, which has not sent a music student to the All-State Festival since 2015. The All-State Festival represents the highest level of musical excellence a high school student can attain in Massachusetts, making this honor especially meaningful.
The All-State Festival Concert will take place on March 21, 2026, in Worcester, Massachusetts. Randolph High School is incredibly proud to have these students represent our school and community with such distinction.
All the Best,
Tracy Elissa Nadolny Duguay
Randolph Music Department Chair K-12
