Over the next three weeks we will be returning all students to the hybrid model in a staggered approach. Please Click above for specific information about the return to the in person learning for hybrid students. The dates below are subject to change as we monitor COVID-19 data and collaborate with the Randolph Board of Health.
The Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) recently released the results of a survey, in which the Superintendent of every school district in the Commonwealth was asked to provide information about student learning models currently in use. State officials have said the survey was designed to collect statewide data about districts’ use of in-person learning, remote learning, and hybrid approaches, with a particular focus on student learning time after seeing an increase in mental health challenges.
The district continues to monitor positive COVID-19 results in our community and is communicating with the Randolph Board of Health. Out of an abundance of caution, and in order to ensure that our staffing levels are capable of meeting the needs of our students, RPS will remain in a fully remote learning model for the week of January 11, 2021.
This year, 2020-2021, the influenza vaccine (flu shot) is required for all students in grades PreK-12, whether learning remotely or in person. All students must receive a flu shot by February 28, 2021 Proof of immunization must be provided to the school nurse.
Dear RPS Community: We have been closely monitoring all of the local and statewide COVID-19 metrics since we opened on September 16th. Over this time period, our faculty and staff have been heroic in their efforts to make the truly complex work of reopening school successful. Although we continue to have no evidence of in school transmission, the COVID-19 positivity rate has been steadily increasing in the Town of Randolph. We have also seen individual cases in our district increase at a similar rate each month. The increase we have seen in December has primarily been at the secondary level.
Here is an update for the Randolph Public Schools food distribution.

The flu shot is important to reduce the risk of getting sick with influenza, reduce the severity of disease if one does get sick (including the risk of hospitalization) , as well as preventing the spread of influenza to others. During the COVID-19 pandemic, influenza vaccine will be especially critical to reduce the overall impact of respiratory illness on the population, protect vulnerable populations from severe illness, and decrease the overall burden on the healthcare system.
Dear RHS Families: First, let me thank you for your support and understanding as we have worked hard to keep Randolph High School open and safe for all. I am very proud of the way RHS students, teachers, staff, and families have come together to keep everyone safe as we continued to educate our students during the world-wide health pandemic.

Dear RCMS families, Welcome to RCMS school year 2020-2021! We are excited to support our students during the COVID pandemic of 2020. We ask families to bear with us as we adhere to COVID school opening requirements; which focuses on limiting student cohorts. As of August 26, 2020 families were asked to select the best learning platform for their child/children; whether distance learning or hybrid learning (two days in the building). Families were informed that once a learning platform was selected that no changes could be name until January. Unfortunately some request were not received by the deadline or families arrived after the deadline. This form is to address changes made after August 26, 2020.
