  • Before and After School Program – Grades K-5
    The Old Colony YMCA in Stoughton is the provider of our before and after school program.  This is EEC licensed program focuses on social and emotional skill building in a safe environment, while providing academic support through homework assistance.

    Care Available for all 4 Elementary Schools:
    Donovan, JFK, Lyons, and Young

    Before School Care
    The program will open at 7:00 AM.  Students will start their day with a variety of games and activities.
    $11 per morning 

    After School Care
    The program will be available from dismissal until 6 PM. A healthy snack is provided and a variety of activities that include: Y Chat time, crafts, science, games, indoor/outdoor play and FUN!
    $23 per afternoon. 

    Early Release Care:
    On early release days, the program operates at each school until 6 PM with special activities and themes planned.
    There is no additional fee if the day falls on a normally scheduled day.
    $23 for the early release afternoon. 

    School Vacation and Summer Fun Club
    During school vacations and in the summer the Y provides a full day program offering theme-based weeks with activities that include STEM, sports, new games, arts, drama, and much more! Location to be determined. Open from 7:00 AM – until 6:00 PM excluding any holidays. A separate registration form is required. Please contact us for more details!

SOUTH SHORE STARS

    Hours
    Before school care starts at 7:00 a.m.
    After school care and early release days from school dismissal - 6:15 p.m.
    School vacations from 7:00 a.m. - 6:15 p.m.

    Transportation is provided from Donovan, JFK, Lyons and Young Elementary.

    All Stars programs accept childcare vouchers.

    Our program structure builds on the interests and needs of students and includes:

    • Social Time
    • Homework support with certified teachers
    • Safe and supportive social and emotional environment
    • One staff member for every 10 children
    • Engaging activities for ages K - 5
    • Afternoon snack provided (Breakfast on school vacation days)
    • Summer Camp Available

    Nellie Mae EAP at JFK

    This grant funded program provides snack, academic support, enrichment and transportation for grades 3-5. This program is free to families and is based on teacher referral. 

    Middle-High School Aged Children
    21st Century Stars, RCMS

    Our 33 week fully grant funded and licensed afterschool program currently serves 40 students, which is capacity, in grades 6-8 at RCMS. We currently have 18 students in 6th grade, 16 students in 7th grade, and 6 students in 8th grade. Enrollment is based on teacher and counselor referral. Our program provides snacks, one hour of small group academic support and homework help lead by Randolph teachers, and 6 week rotations of enrichment clubs, robotics, writing, fitness, digital design, music, and many more. Enrichment clubs are decided based on student interest and student voice. Staff run 3 enrichment clubs at a time and rotate every 6 weeks. We also provide transportation to families who need it.

    21st Century Stars, RHS

    This 33 week fully funded grant program serves students from grades 9-12. We currently have 10 students in 9th grade, 7 students in 10th grade, 1 student in 11th grade, and 1 student in 12th grade. Our program provides snacks and transportation. Students receive one hour of small group or independent academic support and homework help provided by Randolph teachers and 6 week rotations of enrichment clubs. Clubs include cooking, self care, digital music creation, digital design, photography and more. Enrichment is based on student interest and voice. Staff run 3 enrichment clubs at a time and rotate every 6 weeks.

    21st Century Summer Enrichment Program

    Our grant funded 6 week summer enrichment program is offered to students from grades 6-10. This program is based on teacher referral and is free. Our summer program iffers academic support and enrichment activities. Each week is designed around a field trip which we provide transportation for.
