Students and Parents/Guardians: Please read this entire document to understand what the expectations are for all students this school year.
Here is an update for the Randolph Public Schools food distribution.
This year, 2021, has been busy in Randolph Public Schools (RPS) with our return to in-person learning and an increase of live teaching. This addition of live teaching time on hybrid out (at home) and remote independent days provides our students with more teacher time!
To effectively engage together, educators and families should work as partners. Without opportunities to interact in person, it is more important than ever to build and maintain strong relationships. Below are ways in which both educators and parents can support children during remote learning.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health is removing the requirement for flu vaccination for attendance in childcare/preschool, primary, secondary and postsecondary education.
The Pandemic - Electronic Benefits Transfer (P-EBT) Program was created in Spring 2020 to provide funds for families to buy food while schools were closed due to COVID-19. More P-EBT funds are being issued for the 2020-2021 school year.
Over the next three weeks we will be returning all students to the hybrid model in a staggered approach. Please Click above for specific information about the return to the in person learning for hybrid students. The dates below are subject to change as we monitor COVID-19 data and collaborate with the Randolph Board of Health.
The district continues to monitor positive COVID-19 results in our community and is communicating with the Randolph Board of Health. Out of an abundance of caution, and in order to ensure that our staffing levels are capable of meeting the needs of our students, RPS will remain in a fully remote learning model for the week of January 11, 2021.
Dear RCMS families, Welcome to RCMS school year 2020-2021! We are excited to support our students during the COVID pandemic of 2020. We ask families to bear with us as we adhere to COVID school opening requirements; which focuses on limiting student cohorts. As of August 26, 2020 families were asked to select the best learning platform for their child/children; whether distance learning or hybrid learning (two days in the building). Families were informed that once a learning platform was selected that no changes could be name until January. Unfortunately some request were not received by the deadline or families arrived after the deadline. This form is to address changes made after August 26, 2020.
