Our mission is to honor the culture, diversity, knowledge and experiences English Language Learners bring to the classroom, and expand their opportunities to learn by providing them with enriched instruction taught by highly qualified teachers, quality time to develop and use language, hands-on experiences to learn more about their interests and ongoing support that connects both the student and the family to the school community.

Christie cadet

Christie has been a near-model student to teach this semester because she is always prepared, is very self-directed and intellectually curious. She does more work than requested, and asks very thoughtful questions in class. In a small class with other good students, Christie is the one who can debate with deep-thinking opinions. She creates a positive influence in the class.
