Randolph High School Accreditation Continuted

Congratulations to Randolph High School's principal and staff on the recent five-year accreditation by the New England Association of Schools & Colleges, Inc (NEASC).  The NEASC Committee on Public Secondary Schools voted to accept Randolph High School's Five-Year Progress Report and to continue accreditation.  The Committee commended the school on several improvements, many of which were implemented as part of the Accelerated Plan, including:

  • the creation of "power standards" which has increased time and depth of student learning
  • the creation of common planning times for each department designed specifically for the discussion of curriculum and instruction
  • the professional development provided to teachers on the evaluation and revision of curriculum based on student achievement
  • the implementation of "peer walk-throughs" for the purpose of improving instruction and student learning
  • the completion of technology upgrades to make the entire school wireless and implementation of the school's technology plan.

The Committee acknowledged a number of other efforts.  A big thanks to the entire RHS staff, students, and families for their hard work in making Randolph High a great school for our community.
